There is just an amazing variety; it is easy to find a pair that fits your comfort and style. Several types of boots include: cowboy boots, dress boots, and slipper boots.

Cowboy Boots

These boots usually slip on, so you won't see any zippers, snaps, or buckles; they range of rises are from the ankle to the mid-calf. And most of the time you will see women's cowboy boots made from leather. The leather comes in a wide array of colors as well as carved or pressed designs. As far as embellishments go, spurs are the most popular; however, some have spurs for looks only. 

Dress Boots

When it comes to dress boots, there is no end to the styles you will see in stores. There are boots that come up right above the ankle all the way up to the middle of the thigh.  Most of them do have heels because flat boots are commonly thought to be on the casual side. A simple pair of dress boots can be worn to work and an exciting night out. Knee high boots paired with long skirts and dress pants can look appropriate in the workplace and sexy with short dress or skirts worn to the club. 

Slipper Boots

Slipper boots are a boot/slipper hybrid. You can put them on and take them off without having to bother with zippers or other fasteners. Because their material is very flexible, slipper boots are easier to put on and slide off than cowboy boots. First of all, slipper boots are boots, so they have a hard, secure sole. But slipper boots are also slippers.  This means they are comfortable, easy to wear, and warm. Most slipper boots have a wool or fleece lining, suede or cloth fabric on the outside, and come in a rise from the ankle to the knee. 

Ugg Boots

Ugg boots have seen a surge in popularity as celebrities across the globe have been spotted wearing these sheepskin boots with their fleecy lining. As the popularity of these boots has increased so has the range available. Classic Ugg boots continue to be the boot of choice but the new Ugg Cardy Boots and Bailey Button boots are adorning feet across the globe. Ugg boots have become so popular as they are incredibly warm in the cold weather but the fleece lining means that your feet do not become sweaty and uncomfortable while you wear them.
